Cutting The Large Block Of Marble Into Smaller Blocks Of Marble |

After
the block of marble has been cut away from the mountain, it's size
is still too large to work with
or even transport to another location. Heavy equipment is used to
push the block of marble to a more open area. Once it is situated,
the workers
start cutting this huge block into smaller blocks that can be more
easily transported and processed into finished marble products. |

The
cutting is done in the same fashion as when the block was cut away from
the mountain with the exception that holes will not be required. |
